Why, hello there.

I’m Nick, a writer and creative director in Los Angeles. I’ve worked in-house at brands like Apple and Expedia Group and at entertainment agencies where I built campaigns for some of the industry’s biggest names, including Netflix, Ridley Scott, and Marvel.

My superpowers: crafting brand voices that cut through the clutter; building and mentoring creative teams; and rolling up my sleeves to create headlines, films, and social moments that drive action by bringing people closer to a brand.

I’m also an acclaimed fiction writer. The New York Times called my book The Vast Fields of Ordinary (Dial/Penguin) “the best kind of first novel” and named it both a Notable Book of the Year and an Editor’s Choice.

I’m also quite the chef, an avid vinyl collector, and an aspiring plant daddy (although there are certainly days when I wonder if I could be a better parent).
